Here are some steps to get Roblox Studio online in your editor.

If this is the first time you're using Code Kingdoms, you may want to review this guide on getting the plugin setup correctly 🙏:

This guide is for helping those who previously had Roblox Studio linked up to Code Kingdoms and are now having trouble.

Make sure you've downloaded the template project from the editor and opened it in Roblox Studio. This usually fixes the problem!

  1. In the Code Editor on the CK website, open one of your game projects.

  2. Click Download Project to download a copy of the template onto your computer:

3. Open the project in Roblox Studio.

Your Code Editor should now display "Studio Online" and any changes you make will be automatically copied to Roblox Studio 👍

If it's still not working, it might be because you've been using multiple usernames. Check you're logged into Roblox Studio with the right username in the top right hand corner.

If you are, head to the Plugins tab in Roblox Studio, click 'Unlink Editor'.  Return to the Code Editor on the CK website and check the chat window at the top of the Code Editor.

You should see a message appear in the chat window about linking your Studio. If you click "Yes", it should link your CK account to become linked to your Roblox Studio, which should make your Studio "online" in the editor.

If you continue to have problems, please get in touch with us via the blue chat button - we can help! 😄 Make sure to include screenshots of the following so we can help you get sorted faster:

  1. The messages in the Output view in Roblox Studio when you open up your Code Kingdoms project there
